A participant says the class code doesn't work.

Codes are six characters and never contain the letter O or the digit 0, to avoid exactly this. Check they are using the class code from the Groups page, and that they typed it into gradeport.app/join.

My participants can't see the exam I published.

Publishing is only half of it — an exam also has to be assigned to a group. Open the exam and look for 'Assign to groups'. If it is live but assigned to nobody, a red warning says so.

A participant lost their personal code.

Open the group, find them on the roster, and their 8-digit code is beside their name with a copy button. Codes do not change.

Can a participant take an exam twice?

Only if you allow it. 'Attempts each' in Basic settings controls this and is enforced when they try to start, not merely displayed.

Why is a score showing as provisional?

Written answers can't be marked automatically. Open the exam and click the 'to mark' link to read and mark them; the score updates as soon as you do.

Can I stop participants seeing their scores?

Yes. Turn off 'Show results to participants' in the exam's Basic settings. They will see a confirmation that their answers were received, and nothing else.
