Terms of Service

1. What Gradeport is

Gradeport lets a teacher build exams, share them with a class, and collect and mark the results. You are responsible for the content of the exams you create and for how you use the results.

2. Your account

Only teachers, trainers and administrators hold accounts. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.

3. Participants do not hold accounts

People sitting your exams are identified by a name and a code. They have no password and we never ask them for an email address. Their data belongs to you and to your school, and we process it only to run the service.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you have no right to use.
• Do not use Gradeport to collect information about a person beyond what an assessment needs.
• Do not attempt to reach another teacher's exams, classes or results.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service for others.

5. Content you upload

Exams, questions and images you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running Gradeport, and nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not use them to advertise.

6. Availability

We work to keep Gradeport running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. Do not rely on it as the only record of a result that matters. Export or record anything you cannot afford to lose.

7. Deletion

Deleting an exam or a class removes it and its results permanently and immediately. There is no undo and we cannot recover it for you.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using Gradeport at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why where we are able to.

9. Changes

If these terms change in a way that materially affects you, we will say so before the change takes effect.
